Oto Pestner has released over 45 solo albums, and 45 albums with New Swing Quartet, and over 30 albums with Alpski Kvintet (some sold in multi-million copies), and has also appeared in over 50 other albums and singles. As a composer, producer and performing artist he has appeared on over 5.000 songs.
In 45 years of music career Oto Pestner has performed at about 10.000 concerts in Slovenia, Soviet Union, Austria, Germany, USA, Croatia, Poland, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Ireland,… He has performed mostly with New Swing Quartet (gospel and spiritual), Alpski Kvintet (Slovenian folk music) and solo concerts.
He wrote music for all known Slovenian folk music artists as: Alpski Kvintet, Ansambel Lojzeta Slaka, Kvintet Dori, Ansambel Rosa, Ansambel Slapovi, … and other Slovenian pop artists like: Marta Zore, Alenka Godec, Irena Vrčkovnik, Nataša Mihelič, Alfi Nipič, …

Oto Pestner can prepare sheet music for all instruments necessary for solo or choir music, and also for big band or orchestral music. He can arrange a song by designing a vocal harmony for one voice or several voices or do a makeover of an existing song. Oto Pestner can also do a sheet music for style makeover of differents songs (example: folk music makeover into jazz).
